PRS 40EZ Load Indicator System for Mobile Cranes

PRS 40EZ, PRS 40 EZ,
The PAT Krueger PRS 40 EZ is a load indicator for cranes that features flexible design allowing for monitoring single or multiple sensor inputs in wireless and hardwired applications. The system can monitor up to two wireless and one hardwired sensor at the same time, giving the operator the versatility to combine wireless and hardwired sensors. In wireless applications the PAT Krueger PRS 40 EZ utilizes Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum Technology (FHSS) which transmits on one of 25 different channels to ensure accurate and consistent reception of data. FHSS also provides additional protection against interference common to construction job sites. Features: • Used in wireless and hardwired applications • Monitors combinations of load, boom angle, wind speed, and anti-two block • Operator pre-set limits with audible and visual warning • Monitors up to two wireless and one hardwired sensor at one time • Operating range up to 1000 feet in wireless applications • Installs quickly and easily on any size mobile crane • Meets industry standards for indicating devices Proven Sensor Technology: • The PAT Krueger PRS 40 EZ load indicator for cranes incorporates field proven wireless and hardwired sensor technology • The wireless radio anti-two block (A2B) switch is currently used industry-wide on thousands of mobile cranes. All electronics are sealed and potted, which make for a rugged and durable switch • The load is measured to an accuracy of +1% in both wireless and hardwired applications. In wireless applications a 15K or 45K load cell is used which can be easily installed on a headache ball or in the dead end of the boom. In hardwired applications the PAT Krueger PRS 40 EZ incorporates a linerider • Hirschmann’s angle sensors are compact and durable in design. The crane’s boom angle is measured to an accuracy of +/- 1° • Hirschmann’s three cup wind speed sensor is designed for operation in adverse environments. The quick pivot pedestal mount allows for quick and easy installation in fixed or mobile applications
